The Proform XT 70 is a sleek, simple, lightweight treadmill The motor is a bit small at 1.75 CHP Mach Z, so it's better for light jogging or power walking. The incline can be manually adjusted to 0, 10%, or 20%. The Proshox let you choose from 24 different levels of cushioning and intensity. This machine is very comfortable, very simple, and very versatile, to fit the different likes of different runners. Compared to any other treadmill in this price range, this has got to be the lightest and smallest, so if you're looking for a strong and powerful treadmill, this may not be what you're looking for. This is mainly for people who like to walk at a high incline.

The Proform XT 90 is pretty popular right now. The Proshox Cushioning system, is an innovative approach to cushioning, using real shocks similar to a car's. Each time you step it reduces impact up to 45%, and with the 20% incline, you use over twice as many muscles to work out, yet you don't feel the pain in your joints. It's a very effective system, bringing running to new levels of intensity and also comfort. Compared to the incline trainers of other models, this inclines about half as much as Nordictracks and Freemotions, so this is for you if you only plan to use up to a 20% incline.

If you like simple, sleek, elegant, and quiet machines, you'llenjoy the Proform 8.0 ZT. Its thin, lightweight design makes this treadmill easy to fit in anywhere in your home. Yet, despite its size, it still has power. With a 2.25 CHP MACH Z Motor, it feels as solid and powerful as many of the bulkier treadmills. Its only downside is its 250 lbs weight limit. If you're a light runner, and looking for a good treadmill for a very good price, it's great! Compared to the larger treadmills, you may feel a bit cooped up on its 18" x 55" treadbelt, but if you're small, then it may not bother you. The console gives you a nice blue tinted LCD to show you your stats, and the interface is easy to use for anyone.

The Proform 9.0 ZT Treadmill is a lot like the 8.0 ZT, yet with a long list of upgrades. It appears the 9.0 ZT is better in every way, yet the price is the exact same. So if you're looking to choose between the two, stop thinking about it, and get this one. For such a low price, this is an impressive treadmill. The Motor is a medium size 2.25 CHP MACH Z, and the treadmill has all the popular features like cushioning, fold-up, heart-rate monitor, iFit, Ipod Compatibility, Speakers, Backlit display, personal workout programs, and more. Compared to most treadmills in the 599 price range, this is stacked surprisingly well. The warranty isn't too bad either. Check it out and consider it. This would be at the top of my list if I'm looking for a cheap treadmill.
